ABC coverage of 1959 Boianai UFO "Visitants" and more recent Papuan UAP events

 

I did an interview with ABC Pacific reporter Finau Fonua about Rev William Gill's famous 1959 UFO sightings shared with Papuan locals.  Here is ABC report dated 26 May 2026.

Various explanatory efforts have been found to not explain these striking events.  I include also Greg Bishop's interesting efforts to link it US activities out of the Marshall Islands such as the sensitive Kwajalein site - a very distant and improbable long bow to explain the Papuan sightings.

The literary fallout and legacy of the events is striking particularly with Randolph Stow's confronting masterpiece "Visitants". See my OZ Files coverage on this.
